How Safe is your home?

At Tommie’s smart homes, we like to differentiate between safety and security. Safety according to us comes from within while security issues comes from outside the home. Safety issues include electrical faults, flooding, fire, falls, personal injuries, etc. A smart home increases safety at home from all ways safety issues may arise.

The home is equipped with smoke, flooding and CO sensors that send an alert and sound the alarm in case they are triggered. Smart homes are equipped with human fall sensors in washrooms that will detect and sound an alarm if there is a bathroom fall.

The risk of children locking themselves up in rooms is also non-existent as you can unlock the rooms from your phone if you can’t find your keys. Home safety is a serious neglected issue that arises from time to time in any home. You would like to know when there is potential for danger at home.

To crown the safety of a smart home, these alerts are sent over the internet to your phone. This means that wherever you will be in the world, you would know your house is flooding or there is smoke and potentially fire at home.
